As a CDDP Manager...

You will administer plan, direct, and evaluate programs and functions of the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) Department in accordance with state statutes, federal laws, administrative rules, and identified I/DD service needs of the community. 

Supervises and provides professional direction to the Management and Administrative Teams. Coordinates I/DD services with other agencies and organizations in the county.

Average Wage Range

$63,000-$82,000 annual salary

To become a CDDP Manager

You will have years of experience in developmental disabilities services and staff supervision.  You will hold a comprehensive understanding of the Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) service delivery system and a strong understanding of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs).  

In addition to field experience, CDDP Managers must have one of the following: 

  • A Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, social science, health science, special education, public administration, or human service administration and a minimum of four years of experience with at least two of those years of experience in developmental disabilities services that provided recent experience in program management, fiscal management, and staff supervision;
  • Six years of experience with staff supervision; or
  • Six years of experience in technical or professional level staff work related to developmental disabilities services

All CDDP Managers will hold a valid driver's license and be able to pass a criminal background check.
