As a Job Developer...

You will assist individuals with a variety of abilities to source employment opportunities. You will make phone calls and personal community and business contacts with local businesses to showcase the talents of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). You will also help prepare your clients for the community work experience and introduce them to prospective employers.  

Job Developer’s work with potential employers will include making regular contacts to develop job opportunities for your clients. These conversations and connections with potential employers will include informing them of the supported work program and clients available for specific employment opportunities. 

Average Wage Range

$17-$20 per hour 
 

To become a Job Developer

You will have a High School Diploma or equivalent, dependable transportation including a valid driver’s license and clean? driving record.  Job Developers are able to pass a background check. 

Some work experience in business (i.e. sales, networking, relationship building, etc.) is always a plus!
